Within DHC Drienerlo, there is an opportunity for everyone to become a member and pick up a stick, whether it’s your first time playing hockey or you’re already a veteran on the field; a team can be found for everyone! To be able to maintain this, we distinguish in several ways between the type of membership someone takes on during their time at DHC Drienerlo (these can always be changed over time based on your needs). First, we distinguish between teams in the form of recreational and performance teams based on the level of the teams within CHC. In addition, within the teams you can be different types of member: a match member, training member, or indoor member. The description of each type of membership can be found below and the costs are in the table next to it.

Match member
As a match member, you can be a member of DHC Drienerlo for a whole or half season. You can then take part in the training sessions and matches. You are therefore eligible to play in all of your team’s matches during a season.

Training member
As a training member, you are a member of DHC Drienerlo for a whole  season. You can then take part in the training sessions. You are not eligible to take part in the matches.

Indoor member
At DHC Drienerlo, you can also become a member just to play indoor hockey. You can then take part in the training sessions and matches. You are therefore eligible to play in your team’s indoor matches during the indoor hockey season.

The term “competitive teams” refers to the following teams: H1, H2, H3, D1, and D3. The term “recreational teams (1 training session)” refers to the following teams: HX7, D2/D6, D5, D7, and D8. The term “recreational teams (2 training sessions)” refers to the following team: H6. “Beer teams” refer to the following teams: H4 & H5.5.

UnionCard

All our members must have a Union Card or Campus Card. These are available at dms.utwente.nl or through the Sports Center. You must also pay the club fee. The prices for the Union Card or Campus Card and the club fee can be found here.

If you do not have the card and/or have not paid the club fee, you will receive a fine; the fine amounts can be found here. In addition to this fine, the club may also impose a €25 fine on you for not having the card and not paying the club fee.

Association Fee

For the 2026/2027 season, the association fee will be €50,-. This amount wil be deducted via direct debit by DHC Drienerlo.

The indoor hockey fee is €350,- per team. This is independent of the amount of members in the indoor team
